What you see are a couple of pictures of how the erections were carried out. While the job was completed to the satisfaction of the customer; there were some IOCL offices who expressed appreciation and commendation for the extra-ordinary work done.

Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. Thane III T&D Capital & revamp project

In year 2013, Empire Industrial Equipment executed a major T&D Job which includes Capital, Renovation & Modernisation works. MSEDCL had contracted with Supreme Infrastructure (I) Ltd. for new & revamping of the existing distribution network at several places in Mumbai. Supreme had offloaded the work to us for the Mumbra, Diva, Shilphata / Kalyanphata, Khidkali, Dahisar and Navi Mumbai (Mahape) areas – some of the most congested localities in Mumbai.

The job posed several changes, as it involved Supply, erection, testing & commissioning of various activities as below under shut-down conditions; respecting right of way of existing traffic and local population priorities.

1. New HT 22kV, LT Overhead Lines & Underground Cables.

2. New 22kV Switching Station Indoor type.

3. New 8 Way, 6 Way, 4 Way & Mini Feeder Pillars.

4. Removal of the existing 22 KV lines, 22kV Isolators without EB, 22KV DO Set.

5. Replacement of HT & LT RSJ poles, conductors & underground cables, upgrading them, Conversion of Overhead lines to Underground cables.

6. Installation of New Distribution Transformers Centres (DTCs) of various capacities, upgrading DTCs capacity.

7. Laying power and control cables, terminations thereof and commissioning.

OIL PS4 and PS8 Installation of Shengli Crude Engine Generator

We have successfully completed installation and commissioning of 2 numbers Crude Engine Generators at Oil India Limited Pumping Station 4 (PS4) in Sekoni, Assam in January 2018.

Likewise the installation of Pumping Station 8 (PS8) at Sonapur, West Bengal is complete. The commissioning is in progress and is likely to be completed by March 18.

The job included civil works like CEG foundations, mechanical works like crude engine pipeline, besides the installation of CEGs themselves and the connected electrical work like cabling and electrical panel.

On the 7th April 2016, EIE along with CAN-ENGG, Canada commissioned the Additional Heat Treatment Facility at the Rourkela Plant of SAIL. The facility enables RSP to produce toughened steel for India - steel that can even withstand heavy shelling/bombardment. Here's a look at the commissioned plant.

The entire job from concept design to commissioning was executed by EIE team in a period of 24 months. The video captures the entire sequence of operations.
